A dog's hearing is much better than a human's. What a human can hear at 20 ft a dog can hear around 80 ft.  

A dog's nose is about one million times more sensitive than the human nose. 


 

Jackrabbits can leap up to 20 ft and run as fast as 40 mph. They usually spring in a zig-zag pattern.

A rabbit's main predators are coyotes, foxes, badgers, bobcats, and the most common predator: the red-tailed hawk.

Black-tailed Jackrabbits don't have a burrow. They use a little bush for shade and scratch out a bed for themselves.
