If a horse didn’t have bones there would be no structure to
the body. Bones hold everything together and keep it from falling over every
time it takes a step. If there were only muscles it would fall over because
there is no structure. But if it only had bones it maybe could stand but it
would be to skinny to ride because there would only be bones. If a horse only
had muscles there would be no structure so the horse would flop over muscles
the muscles wouldn’t be able to build. Muscles are for making a horse strong by
building muscles they have to form around the bone and together the bone and muscle
makes a sturdy but strong body.
Probably the most important bone is the horse is the spine.
it holds your saddle in place, and the rib cage forms the side. All the mussels
are really important because they make the horse strong. They all have to work
together to function properly.
The hoof may just be the most important thing in a horse’s body.
If the hoof isn’t form right the horse will have a hard time standing without making
pain. 95% of the average horse is born correct and the other 5% could have
bad feet when born.
